You are welcome to bring your whole self into the therapy room—without judgment or pressure to fit into a particular mold.

Yes. Couples counseling can help partners work through communication difficulties, conflict, trust, intimacy, boundaries, and major relationship transitions. The goal isn’t to determine who is “right” or “wrong,” but to create a space where both people can be heard and understand the patterns affecting their relationship.

Yes. Trauma-informed care is a core part of Black Hearts Counseling. Depending on your needs and goals, therapy may incorporate approaches such as EMDR, DBT-informed skills, and other evidence-based trauma interventions. You will never be pressured to discuss something before you’re ready.

Black Hearts Counseling is currently focused on private-pay/cash-pay services. This allows for greater flexibility and privacy in treatment. Superbills may be available for clients who want to explore reimbursement through their insurance plan.
Insurance reimbursement policies vary, so clients are encouraged to contact their insurance provider directly to determine whether out-of-network benefits are available.
