Therapy that meets you where you are.

At Black Hearts Counseling, I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your whole self. I offer straightforward, self-pay pricing with no insurance required.

Consultation / Assessment

$200 · 60 minutes

Your first session is an opportunity to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to change, and whether Black Hearts Counseling feels like the right fit.

Individual Therapy

$150 · 50-minute session

Individual therapy for adults navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, relationships, identity, and other challenges.

Sliding Scale: A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available for clients experiencing financial barriers to accessing therapy. Reduced-fee appointments range from $75–$125 per session and are based on financial circumstances and availability.

Couples Therapy

$175 · 60-minute session

A supportive space for couples who want to improve communication, work through conflict, rebuild trust, or better understand each other.

Extended Sessions

$200 · 80-minute session

Available when additional time would be helpful, particularly for complex trauma work, couples sessions, or intensive therapeutic work.

EMDR Therapy

$175 · 50-minute session
$200 · 80-minute extended session

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a trauma-focused approach that can help people process distressing experiences, reduce the intensity of difficult memories, and develop healthier ways of responding to triggers.

EMDR sessions may be incorporated into individual therapy when clinically appropriate. Extended sessions may be particularly helpful during EMDR processing when additional time is needed.

Clinical Supervision

$125 • 60 minute session

Supportive, collaborative clinical supervision for social workers and mental health professionals seeking licensure, professional growth, or ongoing consultation. Supervision focuses on clinical skills, ethical practice, case consultation, trauma-informed care, and developing your authentic identity as a clinician.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. I currently accept cash-pay/private-pay clients.

HSA/FSA cards may be used when eligible.

If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement is determined by your insurance plan, and I cannot guarantee coverage.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged the full session fee.
